New from Ford Mondeo

The 2011 Ford Mondeo Facelift has been officially unveiled today at the Moscow Motor Show. The car boasts a couple of styling upgrades, new options, a different engine line-up and an Eco mode that will make it a bit more fuel efficient than its predecessor.

In terms of styling, the 2011 Mondeo received a revised front grille, a redesigned hood, modern LED daytime running lights and LED tail lights and chrome window surrounds. The car’s interior features a refreshed center console, a new overhead console with LED ambient lighting and better quality materials.

Ford equipped the facelifted model with regenerative braking, an Eco Mode driver information system and an Active Grille Shutter system which takes care of the air flow from the radiator and engine compartment reducing drag for optimal heating characteristics for the engine.

The 2011 Ford Mondeo Facelift will also get a couple of new options such as Driver Alerg, Lane Departure warning, Auto High Beam, a Blind Spot Information System, a Speed Limiter and a rear view camera. The car will arrive in dealerships at the end of September and will be priced from £17,295 in the UK.
